Brahmadev ayudha

Did you know this?

We are familiar with Ayudha of Shiva, Trisula & Ayudha of Vishnu, Gada but whats the Ayudha of Brahma?

It is called “Shruk” a Small spoon or “Shruva” a big spoon.

Used in offering Ghee while performing the “Yagya” is symbolic representation of Brahma’s Kriya in the process of Shrushti.

Ayudha here do not mean weapon. No literal English translation. Ayudha here means “Attribute”, which represents the very nature of the God holding it.
Whereas –
Trisula - represents the control over Manasa, Vacha & Karmana. It also represents three paths to Moksha – Bhakti, Gyana, Karma.

Gada – is held with all the 5 fingers  - Indicating the firm control & sovereignty of the holder.
